February 2008
December 2007 There are two new board members of VTM. We are happy to welcome a new secretary: Dineke van den Dungen. Also a new treasurer will join the board: Ronald Engel. The new board members will soon be introduced on the Board VTM page (now not yet updated!) Tilburg 2009 does not financially support an activity by VTM and partners. Early December we have learned that the activity planned for the celebration of 200 years city status of Tilburg in 2009 is not supported financially. The activity was submitted to Stichting (Foundation) Tilburg 2009 by VTM, the other city partnership organisations in Tilburg, the Twern and COS. We will work on alternative activities for this important year. In 2009 it is 400 years ago that the first trade Dutch-Japanese treaty was signed. |
